In this letter, indicate how your interests relate to the mobility industry. State what you perceive the benefits of participation in the Teetor program to be. How will you benefit from the industrial exposure? How will you use this experience in your teaching career? Describe any past interaction with industry, such as consulting, work assignments, industrial seminars, etc. What would you like to discuss with a practicing engineer on a one-on-one basis?

*TO THE APPLICANT:
Three (3) support letters are required to complete your application. Please ask your three references, as described below, to go to www.sae.org/news/awards/list/teetor/teetor.htm, click on the appropriate reference indicator, and submit their reference on-line. References must be received by the January 15 deadline date.

Reference One
Academic Dean or Department Head
- Letter in support of your Teetor application and involvement in the program.

Reference Two
Student Support Letter
- Letter of support from individual who is a current or former student of yours. This letter of support may also come from your SAE student team or other design competition team. The individual should address the Teetor applicant's teaching abilities and student support.

Reference Three
Additional Support Letter
- An additional reference of your choosing. This could be from a teaching colleague, or from the chair of your technical/professional society.
